Thanks for the spoon tip. Much easier and less chance of puncturing the ball when removing the plug

It’s very difficult to get the plug in. Video makes it so much easier than it actually is. Maybe that’s the first Bosu workout

Ours didn't come with the tool to deflate it later. But the bosu ball seems really tough and well made.

Can you use a regular pump like the one used for bicycle tires?

Hi Jena, for the BOSU Balance Trainers a bicycle pump will not work unless you have a specific attachment. A compatible pump is provided in each package when shipped.

Should it be 8.5-10inches including the base or just the dome portion?

If you have the balance trainer dome side down, the measurement would be to the top of the base.

air comes hisses out of the rubber feet- is that normal or is that a leak..?

With some units, that breathing is normal. There can be air trapped between the dome and the platform that sneaks out during exercise, but that would not indicate an actual leak from the dome itself. Why does this video show a man easily pumping this ball up. Mine requires 2 hands to push the pump down (slowly at that, certainly not quickly and easily like he's doing here) and then it's not even inflating any air whatsoever into the ball? This video seems deceiving. This pump is very difficult to use and does not work at all. I just bought the NexGen from Amazon and it will not inflate! Nevermind - see response below. Problem fixed!

This method is effective for a person even of the smallest stature. We advise the same inflation method for children who use our smaller BOSU® Sport Balance Trainer. If you are running into problems, likely the open end of the pump is contacting the vinyl on the other side of the balance trainer bladder. You could try angling the pump slightly or resting the balance trainer on your lap to allow the bladder to separate from the inflation hole. If you are still running into problems, you can call our customer service line and we will do whatever we can to help you through this process. Your balance trainer should have come with a pump included in the literature package. If your pump has been misplaced or broken, additional pumps can be purchased on our website: www.bosu.com/bosu-balance-trainer-hand-pump

I bought a PRO but the sticker does not say PRO. IT is metllic blue and the base is silver but...isn't the sticker supposed to say PRO on it. I got one like my friend & her's says PRO on the sticker. Box says orignal BOSU.

The decals are actually the same for all the balance trainers now. As long as yours has a full rubberized base (not 6 rubber feet), it is a pro unit. You can call BOSU customer service if you want to double check. Hope this helps.

So I just broke the piece of shit pump that came with it in 5 minutes and ended up breaking another pump I already have. No air in it at all. Sending the fucking piece of CHI-NA crap back. Don’t waste your money on this.
