for those out there who are doing this... i know DK custom sells a plug n play cable ready to just plug for 50ish bucks... I love dk custom great customer services, parts are on point every time, but if you`re doing the swap save yourself the 50bucks... you can just cut the wires from the original lights that alrdy have the female adapter and connect them with the stealth lights that dk gives you saving you more than 50 + dollars just solder them or bind them to your hearts desire. they have 2 options stealth lights for $119 or the stealth lights with plug n play for $218.

So I think the running lights lead is 5V and when the brakes are engaged, 12v's is allowed through the line and rides over the 5v's.

Is it possible to do this w/o using the specific wiring kit used here to split 1 wire into the running and brake? ( ie. Add a wire and tie it in that way?) Have a 3rd party tail light system but no way to wire my brake light as running...

So, when you bring the two wires into the dual element, where does the one wire on the other go on the light. I've got three leads, not two on the light side.

Can we install without removing the stock turn signal?

I was connecting tail signals to my 2008 sporster where I had only 3 cables and lights had 4 cables. I've looked up and try all possible ways to connect it so I did, and it has a running light and stop light but when I use turn signal I lose the stop lights, it's like a turn signal erase stop light after I use it. Let's say I use left signal and right after there's a stop light only in the right one, o use right signal and now I don't have a stop light in both of them, and I can reset this process by turning off ignition and turn it on again. Need help.

you need to add a load equalizer in the turn signal wiring harness or your turn signals will stop working after a while. Larry B

wouldn't the plug and play work on that dyna? isnt the plug ins the same as the sportster? i got the same bike, 2017 low rider S , hope to hear back from you, would be easier to plug and play thank to solder and such.
