Thank you for the video. We purchased our locks a year ago. We are renovating. We wanted to give a code to each contractor instead of a key. However, we delayed installing because our to do list was huge and the instructions looked complicated. However, after watching your video we realize it is easy. Feel a little silly. But we were incredibly busy and overworked. This video gives us confidence to install all the locks today and check another thing off our list! Have a good one.

THANK YOU!!! I have no idea how my lock came to malfunction when it worked perfectly for years, but suddenly you could open it from the outside with just the Schlage button. You reinforced EXACTLY what the issue was and I fixed it in a matter of minutes. I am eternally grateful; thought I was going to have to fully replace the lock.

This was more helpful than the manufacturer's video, especially the part about the bolt being engaged/disengaged when the code is pushed. I thought mine was malfunctioning because the thumb know would just spin without engaging, so this information helped. However, I wanted to see the part with the key, too.

Thanks so much for the video. I had put everything in correctly but when the key face turned in circles I took it all off and went through the steps again thinking I missed something. Your video cleared that up for me. Very grateful people like you take the time to put things out to help others.

+Wayne Winton Thinking about purchasing, but not sure my door meets spec. Any idea why does it require a 5 1/2" distance between center of deadbolt hole to any lower latch hole? It seems like even with the frame of the lock, there is still room for say a 4" distance.

Excellent video Wayne thank you! I unfortunately did not align that center cam to the arrows so when I pressed the Schlage button it would unlock the door lol. This video was extremely helpful.

OH NO! The video cuts off right where I needed the info about using the key override. Everything works on my BE365 except when I want to use the key. The bolt handle just spins around and won't unlock the door. I turned it 90 degrees and pushed in but nothing works. Any suggestions?

I noticed a small gap between the keypad housing unit and the door surface. Shouldn't this fit flush? If not does it need to be caulked?

when I try to lock it with the keypad, I followed the instructions exactly the same way but the thumb lock keeps on spinning? it doesn't turn the deadbolt even if the lock accepts the code. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, can anyone help?

The key comes to a point where it is all aligned and will push in to engage the locking mechanism
