I just did the drivers side and didn’t have to remove anything. I bought an extra long 16mm box wrench and taped a magnet to the back side of it, and also stuffed some more tape inside the wrench. While it was a bit hard to get the bold onto the nut, once it was on, it was not going anywhere. Installation I pushed in the bolt just enough for it to protrude out the back end and held the nut near it while turning the bolt until it started to thread on. Preparation was 95% of it, the actual getting it off and on was then simple and worked right away no issues.

how did you you get to tighten the nut to the bolt under the master brake cylinder?

Great video! One question though. How did the assistant get hold of the nut to counterhold when you loosened the bolts? I have a GL with the same setup and the front nut, while visible, is pretty hard to get to. The back one is under the master brake cylinder and is not even visible, let alone reachable. Any tips on how you got a hold of them? Even more importantly, how did you get the nut onto the bolt when you installed?

2 years later but if its passenger side you can take off the cabin air filter housing to expose it

Oye, muchacho ¿y no es mejor cambiar los dos? Te lo pregunto porque tengo ese mismo problema en el delantero derecho. Gracias anticipadas

Saves lo mejor q puedes hacer es cambiar los 2 porq mas adelante tendras q hacerlo con el otro lado del carro y ya q cambias uno es mejor los 2 yo cambie los 2 de mi carro
