They actually make a difference, once you have them installed and can see how they would work in a crash, they are worth it.. Just hope the rear aligns..

I was in the same boat as you haha I was hunting for instructions or videos and couldn't find anything.. exactly why this guy is here haha I wish you luck on the install! Only hard part is rtemoving the rear block from the axle, it takes some muscle and maybe a little heat but opther than that its an hour job!

Also i just bought some skate board wheels and a long threaded rod from menards and used those as my axle sliders. I thought they looked cool many different styles colors and sizes.

Haha!! I used to do that on my other sumos haha I didn't want to drill through these nuts tho.. but that style works great for a budget!

Good analogy on the axle sliders, they are sacrificial and prevent from the parts taking the brunt of the crash. Thanks for sharing!

It took me a minute to realize how protective these will actually be.. I think they are a worth investment into the crash protection phase!

I got the same axle sliders! I might run longer delrin on the rears though so that my plastics won’t hit the ground.

Thank you!! I got it from Petrol Vibes, they take a photo of your bike and mock it up and then CNC cut some metal, coat and ship to ya! The thing is top notch I would highly suggest one! Learning on a Grom is definitely a cheat code to learning quickly and “cheaply”. That’s how I learned and now I’m getting my 690 at 12 o’clock already. I’m trying to figure out swerves now 😅

Hey Hey! The nut that comes with the kit from Warp9.. well I know I could have used a 32mm socket but the thread pitch... hmmm that could be the same as the factory rear axle threads (I'm not sure). I know Warp9 will know! I'm sorry I'm not much more help haha

I did pull the trigger on the tekmo titanium header pipe and a Vanasche skid plate! Should be here Wednesday! I also gotta figure out how to put a new tune on the PC

OHHHH baby!! I'm excited to hear how that install goes! It will look and sound soooo good! Tuning the PC is pretty easy if you have a windows computer and their software downloaded, its honestly plug the PC into the computer and hit a few buttons and your done! Their video of how to do it (PowerCommander's) is very easy to follow!

@@LifeWellRidden thanks. I don't have a computer anymore tho. I carry my computer in my pocket lol. But I'm sure I know someone who does. I was glad that rottweiler helped me out with the tune. Those guys are awesome. I'm def excited for it. Hopefully its not to much of a pain to put on.

@@22smcrrider96 I think install will be pretty easy for ya! And that may cause an issue 🤣 I bought a $100 computer from BestBuy just as my “tuning” computer for that very reason haha I never found their software on Mac but I’m sure a dealer or good friend would be able to help!

I have axle slider on my CRF450r supermoto, i was so worried about my stupidly expensive graphics kit, pulled it up after crashing and everything was untouched, the axle sliders took a massive grunt of the damage and the handlebars kept the plastics off the ground and if the sliders weren't there, the plastics would've been fooked

Always haha either you buy it first and tell me or I buy it first and tell you hahah They are worth the investment, the steep price tag may hurt but i bet these will protect so much! And install is only like an hour

@@LifeWellRidden the only reason I didn't buy them was I didn't wanna deal with international shipping. I was looking at em on SM project. After the headache I had getting my SMF headlight I've been hesitant to order anything else from other countries.
