Youngest granddaughter is a seven month L&D nurse working days at a Houston Magnet hospital as most of the older nurses left the hospital to become traveling nurses.

This is a great video! You give such great advice! I want to be a L&D nurse after college and then a CNM after that so I really love watching your videos! Could you maybe do a video where you explain your experience as an undergrad student in the nursing program ? and how you did clinicals and what you were able to do ? I would like to know more about what to expect once admitted in a nursing program 😂

I was watching, and you pulled out the portfolio-- I was like "WHAT!?! That's the Old Well!!" I'm graduating from UNC SON this May and watching your video as I prepare (and hope) to go into L&D! Too cool!!

I think the best is to prepare but be yourself. I find i get to nervous if I try to sell myself

Thank you for this. If in the next video you could include how you answered in jobs you did not get an offer from as well as when you did get the job. This way we can see what to do and what not to do. Maybe you have tips on how you did better in the interview that resulted in an offer.

I had a nurse tell me to shut up when I was having really bad back labor needless to say I said some horrible things to her.
