I knit my first st, stop before the last st, yarn in back and slip tte last st. Perfect edge every time.

So..slip purlwise the last stitch of every row. Saved you three minutes :)

Yeah some of these are pretty easy, but we have a template we follow for our videos. Thanks for the cliff notes version 😉

I see :) Now I understand . You do make good videos and I do appreciate them, and I suppose there are some people who might need this John o'Groats to lands-end version of how to slip a stitch at the end of a row .

If it makes it easier to pick up stitches along the edge, wouldn't there need to be a stitch per row on the sides? This is 1 stitch per 2 rows. So, would I have to increase stitches somehow? Knit into the stitch twice? I was just thinking... But, I'm probably just over thinking it.

What if you're not able to purl for the particular garment that you're making? Then what do you do? It doesn't call for purl stitches.

You just ignore what the pattern says and do what the video instructed for the first and last stitches of the garment.
