How to Line Fursuit Necks

Жыл бұрынI use spandex/lycra for my liner fabric, but you could also use neoprene, spacer mesh, or sport mesh! The main thing is you want a moisture wicking fabric, not a fabric that will absorb and hold onto moisture (so no cotton!)
You can check BigZfabrics, Joann, SpandexbyYard, or Spandexworld for some options! As well as other places.

I started my first fursuit head in April and everything I have done, I have learned from your videos! From learning to hand sew to furring the head you have been such an inspiration and the next docket on my list was to line the neck, which you made this video for right as I needed it!! @@freckledcatcreations appreciate it a lot. I'm not trying to be a hater but a lot of furries, crafters, or artists put such grating music in their videos. The music you add makes me happy and adds a very pleasant vibe to the videos, and this is one of the reasons I prefer watching your tutorials over most others

Ohh this gave some nice insight thank you. Ive been working with a balaclava to create a moving jaw type suit head. I was wondering whether i should go with what i see with 3d masks and not add foam to the back of the head or if i should make a buckethead, glue it to the and nd trim it so that the jaw elastic is visible for me to add the jaw at the end of building the actual head...

I've been making fursuit heads for a few years now and I always get a few wrinkles in the lining (I use lycra) and I am always so scared it will effect the quality of the suit or that it bothers the buyer. 😭😭 You don't feel it, but you can see them.. Like is it a fursuit flaw or just something the fabric does.?

I use lycra too and I absolutely have wrinkles in there too! I agree they can't be felt, don't affect the wearability of the suit. It's not necessary to have no wrinkles. Don't sweat it. Doesn't mean it's bad quality. Thinner stretchy fabrics will just do that.
