I’m 4’10, and honestly once you embrace it and stop putting so much focus into your height everything becomes so much more easier, I still have my days where I feel insecure but those are only days ;)

It's about wearing a fit with matching colors. If the top is too light or dark, it gives you the illusion of looking smaller

Actually for some short people (not all), I would actually recommend wearing separates like the first outfit instead of monochromatic. It’s a lot more flattering and wearing one color doesn’t make you look taller lol so there isn’t much point.

wearing a monochromatic outfit does actually make you look taller because it elongates the lines of the body. that's why the shoes of ballet dancers are the same color as their legs since it makes them look longer

@@yosuke06 I meant when you’re already short/tall, clothing doesn’t really affect how others perceive you irl. It would only make a difference in photos and on camera, but you wouldn’t be fooling anyone irl. But I’d probably change my initial advice a little bit now that I know more.

Here are the changes that give the illusion: Wear darker shades Same colour top and bottom Full pants or skirt/shorts with stocking Try bodysuits instead of crop tops. High waist>low waist Put your hair up Hope this helps.
