1: you provide NO evidence that the capacitance of this thing is even REMOTELY close to 7000 farad. 2: shorting it out directly would cause the capacitor to discharge almost instantly. 3: why did you label the terminals to be polarized!? that's a bipolar capacitor! Its not an electrolytic capacitor. 4: stop lying for views.
@analool7873
@analool7873 5 жыл бұрын
It wouldnt be discharged instantly. See here from Afrotechmods: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e9WHgKlku9GtZok.html . thats defenitely not fake. But elsewise, I fully agree. Guessing by the easy movement of the capacitor, and the fact that it didnt move a centimeter across the table, its definitely a high current transformer under the desk doing the work.

@@analool7873 What he is saying or implying is that the capacitance of that capacitor is 100nf (which it is), and that it is nowhere close to 7000F (7,000,000,000,000nf). A real 3000F capacitor (he had two of those crammed into a duplicate looking model) would behave in the way that is demonstrated in the video, and would explain the polarization signs on it. He really gave himself away there. If you actually made this, it would be great for storing large amounts of "static" electricity, perhaps by walking on a carpeted floor and then touching one terminal, while the other terminal is grounded. Then, someone who touches both terminals at the same time will get a shock.

1) The foil is VERY asymmetrical in it's cut, wrinkling and winding. 2) The tape used is NOT as wide as the foil strips. Therefore when it was coiled, the inner and outer layers of foil were touching causing your "cap" to dead short in the first coil. 3) Amazingly, your cap measured 3 VDC. Just the exact same amount of voltage that 4 alkaline "D" cells would put out if they were configured at 2 in series X 2 then paralleled. This would explain how your cap put out the power to burn your .8 mm wire without even being charged externally. BTW Kudu's on the trick photography. I never saw the break where you substituted the 3 volt "super battery box" for the 7 Kf "super cap". You should be in Hollywood with the rest of the bullshitters.

Thank you for a nice presentation. I used to believe a high value capacitors can be made at home like the one you did. But after watching your vide I have a plumb believe that it is not possible. Yours is FAKE because film capacitors with the same plates are non-polarized plus capacitors discharges instantly with a wire you used or if you had a resistor shorting out. Because you don't know anything about the electricity you did an experiment that PROVES IS BEYOND DOUBT THAT IT IS FAKE. Good try, say hello to your DADDY.

@@makakblan9181 One can certainly make a capacitor like in the video, but the title is misleading. 1) This is not a super capacitor because it does not use single let alone double layer electrolitic effects. 2) There is no way this is a 7k farad capacitor. The dielectric constant of air is 1 and paper is not much better, not to mention that the plates have too much gap without enough surface area to get close to 7000 farads. 3) Even if one had a significant amount of capacitance without using single layer or double layer electrolitic effects, there is no way two thin sheats of aluminum barely touching threads on the two leads will conduct enough current to make the copper wire hot. There would be too much series resistance where the leads touc h the thin aluminum foil.
@kreynolds1123
@kreynolds1123 5 жыл бұрын
@@makakblan9181 given the steel threaded leads, i would suggest an oil filled capacitor would work well. It would dissipate heat generated on the threads and will not cause galvanic reactions. The oil will serve as a better dielectric than air as well as the fact that oil has a higher dielectric strength than air allows for higher voltage rating not to mention that high voltage plates in air suffers Corona discharge.

@@lionlinux давно скупил всё. Уже не продают. Его мало наземле. Кому нужно могу продать немного. Торопитесь, желающих много. И из него можно конденсатор сделать на 1МФ. Просто намотав на кулак.

Just amazing! I have heard that graphene is much better conductor. Can you get very thin material with graphene layered on it? Would the energy density be higher? Also how do you determine the voltage the capacitor can handle?
