Bowl cozies have become incredibly popular! They are simple to make, super handy, and make great gifts! And with all the fabulous fabric options out there, you can customize your bowl cozy to fit any theme or decor.
Now you can also customize your bowl cozy to fit just about any size bowl as well! Here you'll learn the magic measurements needed to make your bowl cozy whatever size you need to fit the bowls (and plates) that you own.

Hi Carolina! Thank you for this tutorial! Learning the general rules is so helpful. I usually make one size cozy pattern and hope that it fits all bowl sizes. Love that plate cozy too!

I had templates for the pointed corner cozies but just bought the boxed bag template and can't wait to make new cozies. Saw a sample at a local quilt store and immediately bought the ruler and bowl cozy pattern, came home and looked for your channel:)

This is the easiest ever! I have a friend who says she absolutely hates making bowl cozies. I am going to share this video. Maybe you can come back to Ridgecrest soon and teach us! It might happen. I would love to bring my granddaughters to class with me. I think this would be a perfect project for them. Also, I would like to make cozies to help store my good stoneware. Thank you!

Thank you! I have a cozy template that I got in a subscription box but it only makes the one common size and didn’t really have an idea of how to make it work for the other sizes I wanted. Thankfully I had treated myself to your boxed bag template when it came out and can play with that soon! Maybe get fancy and do a taller skinny one for ice cream pints 😂😜

I've made 15 of these. I handsewed them all, since I no longer have a sewing machine. I enjoyed doing them this way. It's therape utic, I think.

I'm making a Christmas one now. I think they can be used as a bowl. Just put a pretty Christmas napkin in it and use it for rolls, candy, etc.

I bought the pattern and ruler at a local quilting store. No matter what I do, I cannot access the cheat sheet. I've checked and rechecked that I am entering my email address correctly and I still have not received an emailed copy of the sheet.

I'm disappointed that you didn't include how to sew the bowl cozy together. Very disappointed that your "free" instructions are not really free.

I'm sorry you are disappointed, but also confused. I specifically say in this video that you need both the pattern and the cheat sheet to make the bowl cozy. I don't ever promise it is all going to be free. I am a pattern designer. I make my living selling patterns. While I do offer some things for free (every month I offer a new free quilt block pattern to those on my newsletter list, I have tons of free tutorials here on KZfaq, and several free quilt patterns on my blog), if I offered everything for free I would not be in business very long... and then I wouldn't offer any more free things at all! The pattern is $4. It isn't outrageously priced. ❤
