How To Make A Ceramic Berry Bowl + ombre glazing technique // full pottery process

In this video I show you the full process of making a berry bowl!
I explain how to throw a bowl on the potter's wheel, how to trim it and how to make holes. In the end I show you an obre glazing technique, using Amaco glazes.
I used about 600 grams of clay.
Bisque fire: 1020°C / 1868°F / cone 06
Glaze fire: 1220°C / 2228°F / cone 6

Love the piece. Where I live I can buy the triangle makeup sponges and I use that to clean the holes. It is easy and fast , also I use the triangle makeup sponges to clean many things on the pottery specially around the attachment of handles etc. Happy Easter 🤗

I find it’s easier to smooth holes when the piece is almost bone dry. I use a damp sponge with all extra water squeezed out. 🙂

Hiiiii i love yout videos but i have a cuestion that maybe you could answer, i would love to mix my ceramic work whith some transparent elements, thought of melted glass, but i dont have a glass oven, so i was wondering if you knew if you could mix resin, this like, air dry resin, bc i want to buy some but idk if it would stick to my pieces. (already baked ceramic pieces) what do you think? ✨✨✨✨👀
