Thanks man, I made one today based on this video! Not as stylish as yours but it's functional!

I also made a bucksaw much like yours,but I used power tools,you did it the old fashioned way with hand tools.I like the way you sawed a groove in the handles for the blade.Some use a saw like you did,some use a router.To make the cross piece fit into the handles I just used dowels.And I used screws with wing nuts to hold the blade in where you used pins.Then I made two windlasses Ya did a nice job on it!

That's a really beautiful design. I would like to have seen a lot more construction details tho' !

You should offer a blueprint grate jod

I wouldn’t have pinned and peened the blade In. Just gonna make life hard in yourself if you bend the blade or break a tooth… I used stainless steel machine screws and nylon thumb nuts. Very easy blade change.

Watching you saw, mark, scrape, plane etc. hardly constitutes a tutorial on making a bucksaw. Explain what you are making,why you are doing what you do, and show photos of the finished pieces. Artful videography is of no value when people don’t understand your goals.
