Great video, very helpful. BUT small reminder to everyone that these mannequin feet are not what real feet look like. If you have to the opportunity to make your own shoes, why not go for something that goes with the shape of your own foot. Try Barefoot!!

Very helpful!!! can you make your own last??? i'm getting tired of not being able to find shoes!!! i want to make my own. they discriminate on size 5 and the half sizes. They are very hard to find!!!

I was going to ask the same thing but my problem is price and style instead of size. I’m considering trying to carve one from foam or using the duct tape dummy technique on my feet but I’m assuming there might be problems of sturdiness that are avoided with solid wood or plastic lasts

No stitching the sole? Do you teach Blake stitching or good year welting in your course? It seems like the most high quality shoes online advertise this.

No we don't teach these as blake stitching and good year welting is what we consider advanced shoemaking and the methods we teach are more suited for beginners ⭐️

I don't believe you can learn this skill well without direct hands on personal instruction. So I think it would be better to find a good class somewhere. Perhaps someone can recommend some.

I love how she specifically DOES NOT teach how to make shoes. Just magically attach it all together. Just figure that out and do it. THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME.

@@handshakes76 I think you can make your own with plaster after making a mould of your feet in foam.
