How to Make Ashta | Milk Pudding Pistachio Dessert | Aysh Al Saraya | Eats With Gasia

In this video I shower you how to make ashta, a middle eastern milk pudding pistachio dessert. This dessert is so easy to make and is delicious! Try my recipe. :)
What you'll need:
3 cups half and half
2 cups whipping cream
Toast
5 tbsp corn starch
5 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup crushed pistachio
Sugar syrup:
2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 tsp rosewater
1/2 tsp orange blossom water
1 lemon slice

Looks delicious but what do mean by ‘Whipping cream half and half?’

For whipping cream, look for a carton that says “heavy cream”. The other carton should say “half and half”.

Absolutely love this Lebanese recipe, great presentation. This dessert looks amazing, with a slight twist on bread and butter pudding, which we make in the UK. I love pistachios too, which I used in a squash soup recipe recently. I appreciate the effort gone into this and hope you give my channel some feedback too, especially as I cover middle eastern food too.
