good one, Recondite is my favourite artist so far and his "Phalanx" is in my opinion one of the best electronic music tracks ever, how it impacts on people in club or event is insane

"This is a great sounding kick! Loads of snap and punch. But this is Dark Techno. So with some multiband compression, EQ, guitar amp distortion, sidechained delay and some murky reverb we're going to make it sound like an elephant stomping on a wet suitcase in an empty metro station!" (This is great BTW. Keep up the good work.)

Jason Logan Why not go all analogue and just get the elephant with the suitcase at the station? Would probably sound more convincing if you get the real thing. Although, from what I gather, elephants make awful pets.

Recondites Music is absolutely insane! I love how you really reach this level of "deepness". will watch the whole thing later as my weekly class from you haha. Some days ago I first listened to the track "traces" by Pig&Dan. For me the best track from them so far! Since I heard it I'm spending hours trying to recreate the lush lead about 30 secs into the song. The space/ambience is unreal! If you are looking for new tutorials I would love to see your approach on that :-) Keep it up!

Cool track! Sounds like a CS-80 patch to me. Maybe try looking for Bladerunner or Vangelis sound tutorials, its definitely that kind of style :)

Hey Yalcin :) I usually use the reverb / rumble chanel on an audio effect rack placed on my kick, did you recommand better to do it on a separate chanel as you show in this video ?

I know I am not Yalcin but I am sure he would recommend to use a seperate channel. This gives you much more freedom to play with the effects while keeping the kick clear and booming. This way you can also sidechain the dark rumble more easily to keep your mix clean.

You can find them free online, or make them yourself on a midi track then export them.

Pad movements instead of flying with an ecu filter, it would not be better to use an assigned LFO when giving autofilter and thus create movement with the rate. Thanks for your tutorials, greetings from Spain.

Hey, just a question, how did the top ends of the kick start coming once you added the reverb before the Amp? That should not be possible since you have a low pass filter. Can you explain- around 3:30

It is parallel routing. Kick channel goes to Low End group, while it is also sent to channel 3 which is where the rumble is made. I am low passing the channel 3 but kick on channel 2 is still sent to Low End group without a filter.

When you put the volume down @11:20 you forgot to decrease your voice level too. Now it's hard to hear the track difference without getting scared when you start talking :(
