I live in the south of Germany, but I just couldn't resist. So I bought a train ticket to Stockholm :D Thats 18 hours (one way). But it will be a cool trip with stops in Hamburg and Copenhagen. I am sooo excited for the festival. What a great idea! PS: I always thought the english words "to dye" and "to die" have nothing in common, but apperantly I was wrong. Glad you survived ;-)

The pillars of society have always been human labor human intellect and moral values. The need for human interaction in all three of these things is about to be reduced to almost zero. What do you think is going to happen when we have a planet with 8 billion people, and we only need one million to make society work? Given that big government in big corporations make all the decisions. I think we can deduce the final solution. And really it's not like they haven't already told us what their plans are. Of course, they'll blame it on climate change racism sexism and all the different phobias. In other words, the rich and powerful will blame what's about to happen on you.

I really enjoy your videos and learned a lot of cool tricks, but that's definitely not how you do it. 04:40 - You still have a ton of phasing in the mids and highs. It's so phased, even in stereo it sounds phased. It even shows up on your imager as the V shape that tries to converge. You need a bit more randomness. Look at MRAK's print - it doesn't leave patterns. The solution involves much more advanced techniques. When someone says "mono compatibility", I expect mono compatibility full spectrum, not just in the lows. Phasing in the mids and highs is particularly annoying due to phasing causing aliasing frequencies that are in the mids and highs and you get that flanging effect. Involve a little bit of noise, alter the frequencies in the mids and highs in a way that complements the other channel, so when mixed down to mono it sounds solid and clean.

i think the fact that people actually pay a monthly subscription to get things like a hihat loop from splice is the most disappointing thing in the video. i'm ok with not every mixing decision being perfect when listening to music, but music just being a combination of samples that you could have even made yourself easily.. i just don't see the point. i mean it's bad enough that people take bass and lead sounds from those platforms and basically disregard the potential to bring their own style into the most important part of the song, but hihats aren't even hard to make. you could literally fart into a microphone, slap heavy wavefold distortion at it and put an envelope on the resulting sound and you'd have a proper hihat

The song is just a bad egg , no amount of reverb or rich texture will improve the monotony and generic nature of the groove
