How To Make Fabric Boxes/Bins

Grab a couple fat quarters, a little fusible interfacing and join me as I show you How To Make Fabric Boxes/Bins. These are great for sorting and storing any size fabric scraps but can be used to store many other items around your home or office.

Let it snow, let it snow! Good Morning this snowy morning, it’s been snowing gang-busters here in Cottage Country in eastern Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 since Nov. 24th & has not let up much. Dang it, the snow is certainly piling up, our snowbanks will be 6 ft/183 cm very soon. I have wanted to sew some of these fabric bins for some time. Now that I have your explicit video tutorial, I can sew as many as needed & even give these fabric bins in sets as Christmas gifts. Thank you much for sharing your expertise. I have already saved many of your tutorials so I can often refer back to them. Cheerio & have yourself a super day filled with joy !

Like me, Check one of the thrift stores for a 2 or 3 lb arm weight, it helps hold ruler while you cut long pieces....LOL LOve these Bins and a great idea, I have scraps everywhere!

I have one and don't like it. I prefer True Grips dots. I only have a problem when I cut left handed...I'm right handed.😂

I'm sure she's going to love them. My daughter loves it when I make her things, so I gave her a sewing machine and all the tools she needs to make them herself. It didn't work, she hasn't made anything. But she has 4 kids so there's not much time for mommy time.

Good Morning Lea Anne, I love these bins. ❤️❤️❤️ I have been revamping my sewing room which turned into a whole house purge 😳 that I wasn’t planning on.. 😅🤣 You are so good at making videos, there is so much to do. Good morning! Oh I've been where you are several times. It happens about once year. Hubby goes on a hunting or fishing trip and I'm left alone to make a huge mess for day or weeks. My revamp might start next month, weather permitting an out of state fishing trip. Have fun with the revamp!

Hi Lea Anne, hope you are well. I love the bins. I would use one for a scrap bin for my serger as it doesn't have one and I have to place my rubbish bin under it when I'm using my serger. I could tape it to the table that my serger is on, and i also look forward to the march cat block. Take care Linda

I agree. My sewing space used to be small and dark. It was nice to expand and brighten things up a bit when the kids moved out.

Good morning Lea Anne thanks for showing me about the boxes. Just love it. Now I use my serger a lot could you make a thing that sits under the serger and it collect all of the scrap I think I know how but I would like for someone else to show me step by step it'll be great.
