In this video, I talk about making homemade from frozen juice concentrate. Since each concentrate is different, I won't leave a recipe but discuss the general process.

I don't just because I like to keep it simple, but the nutrient isn't a bad idea.

it is just that i already have the de-alced wine someone gave me and was wondering if there are some chemicals in it that could inhibit yeast

You'll want to look for any preservatives like Potassium Sorbate or Potassium Nitrite.

What about a 5-6 gallon bucket? How many grape juice concentrates and sugar would I need to make a batch?

Every grocery store has sizes and styles of concentrate, so it's kinda hard to answer.

Can i use de-alchohoized wine or would it have some yeast stopper in it? (Thought i would restore the poor stuff to former glory)

I have a feeling non-alcoholic wine is more expensive than grape juice, so just use grape juice.

ive had this wine w the pressure cap for 2 weeks. im adding sugar to adjust flavor. should i do pressure top again or seal it?

If you add more sugar, you might start back up the fermentation process. Leave the pressure top back on or put your wine in the fridge to stop fermentation.

how long do u leave the pressure thing ontop before u seal it?

Leave it on throughout the fermentation process. When you are ready to drink and/or bottle, you can seal it up.

Would hot water and Dawn soap work good enough to clean out your equipment?

That's good for cleaning but it doesn't necessarily means its sanitized.

Oh okay I just started to homebrew. What do you use for sanitizer and Walmart/ Target possibly have a sanitizer?

If its cold, the yeast activity slows down. You want to keep it at least in the 60's

Not sure if you figured it out, but you can actually speed things up a lot by putting the container in a warm (dark) location, or better yet, you can set the container on a heating pad, or loosely wrap the lower end of the container in a small electric blanket. The only issues with adding extra heat/an electric heat source is: 1) Don't of course get it wet, and 2) You need to monitor the heat with a digital thermometer to ensure it maintains 100°-110°F which is the ideal temperature for Active Dry Yeast, or 120°-130°F for RapidRise/Bread Machine Yeasts. The advantage of adding a heat source will actually allow you to make a batch every 7-8 days!

That might be a little too acidic but orange juice still works.

I did. I usually don't show my sanitation process in my videos just to keep them from going too long. I should probably start mentioning the sanitation process at least. Thanks for the heads up.

I usually rinse it and dry after use and then put it in the sanitizer while I'm setting up my next brew.

Orange juice is too acidic for the yeast.

I tried orange juice as an experiment and it was disgusting. It smelled like rhino farts and made all kinds of brown, frothy nastiness. Although I did try pineapple juice and was pleasantly surprised because it's very acidic too but taste nice. Who knows... You can always try your own experiment too. Worse case, you pour it out.
