For the Korean eggplant recipe:
Eggplant - 4 medium pieces (portion for 2)
Garlic - 5 cloves
Onion - 1 small
Hot pepper - 4 pieces
Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Black ground pepper - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Sesame seeds - for decoration

What's the point for soaking in water without salt? Water soaked veggies without proper draining of the water will make oil splash big time and make the veggies boil and not fry. Something is off in this recipe.
