How to Make Tahinopita: Sweet Tahini Bread Swirls FULL

Full length technique and recipe video on how to make Tahinopita - a Greek Cypriot sweet tahini and cinnamon swirled bread. The full recipe is in my book Taverna, but here is the ingredients list if you want to have a go:
- 200g dark tahini (regular is fine too)
- 3 tablespoons carob syrup (optional)
- 125g caster sugar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- fine sea salt
- 350g bread flour, plus extra for dusting
- 1⁄4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1⁄2 × 7g a sachet yeast
- 4 tablespoons honey (or vegan alternative/ agave/ maple etc)

Thanks--very helpful! Trying another recipe for these for the first time today and I was confused about how to form the rolls. Recipe had instructions but I needed to see someone do it to make sense of them!

I used to drive all the way from southern NJ to Astoria, NYC to buy these. Since you made it look really simple to make. Think I'm going to try to make them and save myself some money. Tunnel tolls are over $20 nowadays.

Temperature to cook? How long ?

160°c/gas mark 3 for around 20 minutes. Mine sometimes take 25-30 minutes but I have a dodgy oven. I've made these lots of times and they always go down well 😍
