In this video I will show you the ultimate solution to power on the go. This DIY power bank features a removable battery pack, which can be easily replaced, giving this power bank unlimited capacity as long as you have enough cells. The cost of the row components of this power bank is around 60 dollars, which is two times cheaper than anything commercially equivalent.
WARNING: Do everything at your own risk, lithium batteries can catch fire or explode if mishandled. This power bank requires a more than a basic understanding of electronic to complete.

Lot of people posting their projects on KZfaq but they don't public thier CAD files. If does, they required for money. You did a huge project which I can't imagine to do myself. And also you have publicate to others who like me to encourage. I cannot imagine during this project how much of time, money & failures you have faced. That was made me to thumbs up & subscribe your channel. You may have all our blessings to do more and more. Thank you so much.

John Chrysostom when doing big projects like these, there is bound to be roadblocks or something not going just right. There is no getting around it, no matter how good at electronics you are. If he managed to do this whole thing with nothing left to truoubleshoot, I would be beyond amazed.

I have completed this project and its great. Here are some corrections for anyone interested in building this. 3:11 It lists 2 Mini DC step down converters when most likely, only 1 will be needed. The second is use to lower the speed of a fan if it is too loud. 3:45 make sure that you buy the correct size switch as shown here. I purchased ones that were 1/4 of the size and had to 3D print custom enclosures to make them the proper size. 4:00 The copper strips are not needed if you spot weld the batteries. The zinc strips worked well. My power inverter also already came with heatsinks. 4:21 he says 4 NC and 3 NO 45°C bimetal thermostats when it is actually 3 NC and 4 NO needed. 9:18 if you are using a flexible filament for the outer bumpers, there is a remixed STL file for the ring to be printed in flexible filament. That hinge is impossible to locate. 11:07 the hole for the USB C trigger is very large. I used tissue paper with glue to fill the hole. Hot Glue may also work. You can also shrink it in the files that is provided. 13:49 The graphic is incorrect but the video shows the correct pin, the wire goes to the common terminal of the relay which is why he offset it to do so. 14:08 The second pin of the switch gets used later, it goes to the relay pin shown in 19:24 14:39 Be aware how you solder the wires to the potentiometer as a voltage gauge is mounted directly above it as seen in 15:45. 90° solder joints are what I had to use. 15:24 The other wire of the switch goes to ground 21:53 This isn't a correction but you can drill a hole or bore one with a soldering iron in the center of the charging coils to run one of the connectors below the board. I don't know if it helps but I copied it like seen here.

I've completed it and posted some pictures of it in the made section in the thingiverse link provided in the summary. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/prGedcJyvuDTeoU.html Many of the parts and components used were different than the recommended components. This was mostly due to error but I had to make them work. Unfortunately, this meant that I had to redesign many of the existing files. Thankfully all the cad files were provided and easily modified with Fusion 360. I got a 10 watt fast wireless charger instead of the recommended 5 watt. This will charge wireless devices twice as fast but it was larger than the recommended. The charger actually needs 9 volts instead of 5 volts to use it's full potential. I used a mini step down converter (purchased 10 by mistake) to drop the voltage from the battery down to 9 volts and soldered the power cables to the wireless charger. This way, I don't need to turn on the usb charger switch to turn on the wireless charger. I also got RGBW (additional White Light) instead of RGB and the controller was larger. These upgrades required the top compartment, and outer shell to require modification. The inset for the wireless charger circuitry had to be pushed more toward the center of the device and some of the dividers needed to be removed in the top compartment cover. The outer shell was changed too. I pushed the target circle for the charging back to it's new location, holes were relocated to match the new outputs of the lights and RGBW controller hole was changed to be more clean. I made a new switch cover and completely closed the hole that is usually on the top. I had to modify the IO plate a decent amount. All the text had to be enlarged and they had to be put in a bit deeper. I also had to enlarge the hole and add some cutouts for my outlet plug as my plug had side tabs, which meant that I needed no glue. I also had to lower the LED hole for the inverter my 4 mm. I literally printed about 11 or so IO face plates till it got it correct. The usb 3.0 charger I got was much smaller than the one recommended so I made a adaptor tray with a thermostat slot for the new circuitry to sit on. The CC/CV buck converter was also different and had no screw holes so I used some high power 3M double sticky tape to hold it down. I had a spot welder so no copper strips were needed. I had some nickel strips which I used. Fortunately my inverter already had heatsinks. I used some pretty good cells that tested out to be great on my iCharger 1010b+. On my first test, the capacity came out to be 17,226 mAh @ 11.1 Volts or 191.2086 Watt hours. Does it seem low? 191.21 Watt hours is about 52,000 mAh at 3.7 volts if I were to show the capacity like most scumbag sellers do. Only thing left is to properly print the badge.

love the video and been wanting to build one like this for a while now, even have the 18650's, but I'm new to building electronics so want to start small and build my way up, so gonna build the hand warmer you made when I get some time. I'd love to see more videos like that, small projects that are fairly easy to do and follow, that way I can get experience to build this baby. Great videos and great channel keep up the good work

I really like this, maybe you can do a tutorial for those who like this interface at Solidworks but haven't dug so much into these settings. Special respect man. ❤👍😍
