Thank You! Depends on what you want to make. If you want to make a 6pin PCI-E cable or 8pin PCI-E cable or 24pin ATX power cable or 8pin EPS cable then just use the regular ATX connector.

Nice work! I had no idea of what the details were of the basic process... Other then the time it takes to go this far, there is so many situations where the sexiness of the wiring deserves to be shown off, not just in/on PC case wiring either... Thank you! I like a video that I will actually learn something...

I personally feel like heatshrinkless looks better but its just my opinion. You could very well use heatshrink the process will just require a couple of extra steps. When you use the heatshrinkless method and melt the sleeve to the wire it holds the sleeve in place. When you use heatshrink you dont have to melt the sleeving to the wire because when you blast the heatshrink with heat it will shrink which will then grip the sleeve to the wire.

I've found that another way to terminate the sleeves is using a small piece of heatshrink tubing, and then heat it up with a heat gun, it nicely shrinks and tightens the sleeve with it and looks good and you avoid the bulging on the sleeving from using a lighter

It's a shame that it takes probably a week or 2 for a upload as always from every KZfaqr but I'm not down about it because I have several KZfaqr's i watch from! :D This kind of stuff is interesting. Hoping for a green and black, and alittle silver build. Can't be helped about the silver. Went with Phobya 250 res balancer. Looks good but it's silver. Gotta match it up now lols. Hope to hear something about that PSU sleeving soon. Thank you again!

At 6:50 you mention that if we want to make custom cables that connect to the PSU directly (not extensions), then we need all female ATX pins. Apart of that, is the process similar for custom cables (not extensions) ? What about PSU pinout diagrams ? Are there instances where connections have to be in a different order or something like that ?

I got a few questions and I would really appreciate an answer. first off: does it matter if i buy 16 or 18 awg wire. will both fit into the plastic connector. and this is a dumb one. if I just google "16 awg wire" will all of them be the same type of wire that I can use on extensions
