One thing you always hear people say alot is: I'm in better physical shape now in my 60's than my 20's. While this may or may not be true in a few metrics like muscle mass. Simply because you only started to seriously train in your 60's. In the majority of physical metrics this simply cannot be and is never is true. You can be in great shape in your 60's. But the reality is you're not even close to the physical prowess, energy, potential and health of your 20's old self.

I spend ten minutes a day and focus on my motor units, which will increase my longevity. I started weight training at 52 and never looked back. I'm 64 now. JJ is amazing and I really look up to her.

I went Carnivore 14 months ago. I started lifting again in August after losing 30 lbs of fat and excess water, and getting over Diabetes and High Blood Pressure. In the nine months since, I have put on 28 lbs of lean muscle mass. I am more striated and vascular than when I started lifting, with the same waist size and more muscle separation. I am 56 years old.

yes, carnivore for the win. So many veggies have so many anti nutrients, not worth the "alkaline" that supposedly is provided. My understanding is the PH will balance how it should within the body. Plus eating carnivore or carnivore-ish you don't need to be adding in all the amino acid supplements because you have plenty from your food.

I agree that you can build muscle as you get older, but I do it without allulose.

Allulose is to raise GLP-1 (fat loss), not for building muscle :)

I would have definitely cut the carbs and sugars out. I would have increased the saturated fat before I would have gone on trt. You need animal protein and animal fat to build muscle make hormones build bones. It also helps with your sleep when you get good quality sleep, your body releases growth hormone. The body makes enough glycogen. You don't need to add any to your diet

yes exactly! Plus with mostly meat you don't even need to be adding the additional amino acids because it's all in the meat. No plants needed.

For me doing a fasted workout is more of a scheduling issue. With kids still at home and my work schedule I usually need to workout first thing in the morning. I do have essential amino acids and creatine/taurine plus electrolytes about 30-60 minutes before

I’m so confused. I hear so much conflicting information. I also heard a lot of studies were done only on men bc women are too complicated to study with their cycles and women are different. How can I find out what is best for me? There are 99 reasons for insomnia. I have to pay a lot for insurance already and don’t want to spend thousands on diagnostics not covered by it for each issue that pops up

I will never go to the gym...looking at anthropology and ancient cultures, the best physical exercise is walking and being active as opposed t sedentary... that is it for me... this is enough for me to maintain my muscle structure...

You could go even further by occasionally walking with all 4 limbs, adding the arms for the upper body. Imitate different animal walks, then on your back, crawling, rolling, crouching, etc. It's a game: vary methods, don't stand up. I do it when I'm at home: go make myself a coffee, come back with the cup. On the floor.

Go vegan for your health, whole food plant based. Go vegan for the animals. Go vegan for the planet. Go vegan and be healthier and happier. A lower risk of heart disease and cancer for you and a better planet for everyone, human and animals. Eating healthy is not a diet it is a healthy life style.

No. I went carnivore 7 months ago after being more plant based. Now I'm stronger, leaner, growing thicker hair, skin is healthier, no teeth plaque or ear wax, better sleep, better focus, and the list goes on. If you're vegan you're going to have so many deficiencies. Iron, k2, b vitamins, cholesterol, saturated fat, copper, zinc, selenium, etc. I don't have to take any supps on carnivore.

You have no idea how your food is grown, do you. If you knew the truth your opinion would be the complete opposite. Perhaps educate yourself rather than falling for propaganda. I grow all my own food. I know exactly how much death is on my plate. You haven't got a clue.
