I use the Starting Strength method (3×5) with traditional exercises (chest press, leg press, seated overhead press, leg curls, etc). The system definitely works, if you have the mental toughness! I work each body part every 7 to 9 days. For example: Chest and back (Monday) Legs (Thursday) Shoulders and arms (Sunday) Two days rest and repeat chest and back on Wednesday. I still eat a high protein, high carbohydrate diet as recommended. As a man who's passed middle age, I'm getting stronger each week!
