I want to apologize for the audio throughout. My wireless mic was acting up and I didn't realize it. All of the information is still in the video, however, there is a slight syncing issue in a few of the segments.
This video will walk you through the process of outboarding your rear shocks when changing them out to Fox 2.0 with remote reservoirs. This is an advanced modification that will allow you to mount 12" travel shocks. You must also do a brake caliper flip which I have listed in a link below.

Too funny. I just finished an outboard shock job on an LJ today. Ended up with the exact same geometry as what you guys got. I bet if you put an angle finder on the shock shafts, they would be around 70 degrees. About time someone put up a thorough video on the job.

Ha! Just finished mine over the weekend as well, and my dimensions look to be lining up with yours as well! I could have used this 2 weeks ago!

Had to do the very same thing about 3 years ago. Broken bolts in the stock mounts couldn't get them out. Seemed like the best option over the horror stories I read of what people went through to use stock shock location again after broken bolts

Awesome, I’m about to start an outboard project on my Tj and I think this gave me a pretty clear view of what needs to be done! Thanks brother!

Great video, this was really well done. I was telling @jjvw on the forum that this is cleaner than most "professional" installs. Thanks for taking the time to document and share with the community. Audio being out of sync is pretty easily fixed with a program like Audacity (open souce and really easy to use) if it happens in the future.

I do everything on my phone including all editing. I haven't had a problem with audio sync until these last two videos. 🤬

As expected, great attention to detail & craftsmanship! Quality map to the future endeavors on my everlasting TJ project. I will be referencing this one frequently up to and until I locate & purchase a 44 to rid myself of the too-narrow-to-outboard 8.8 mistake I made years ago. Did that happen to be BMB brand lip balm? HaHaHa! Good stuff

Great video .. Aside from audio ;) How's is the track bar clearance to the gas tank skid? I'm sure it's fine, but it wasn't mentioned in the video. I've cleared the cross member before, but interfered with the tank skid...

It clears fine, and yes that should have been included. That's why I mentioned the Currie track bar. Not sure how I missed that part 😁

My jeep is my daily driver besides my, rock crawler/off roading project. Does out-boarding my shocks weaken the frame to any degree that i should be concerned about?
