That's a lovely colour. Seeing as the pipes are plastic it might be worth taking advantage of the flexibility and wrapping a bit of tape around it and pulling it away from the wall sticking it to the radiator.

U make it look so easy!!! Not looking forward to it, but I suppose I’ll give it a try. Just bought an apt. that’s almost perfect, except for the bright cherry red wall in the kitchen 😳😱. Who does that??? What a horrible way to wake up 🤣. Thankfully, it’s only one wall and most of it is covered by cabinets and counter-top… 🙏🏼

Hi just came across your video i don't have as much gap at the side of my rad its a small one even although I'm in a new build, what would you suggest please can i also ask how to paint the staircase wall cutting must be a nightmare i don't like heights 🤣🤣 the skirting boards are chipped to , hope you don't mind all my Q thank you for sharing your video x

Sometimes there is a grill type thing around the radiators that can be unclipped to give you the space. they can be a pain to take of. This video might help with the staircase or give you an idea kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r6uErZSEqM-7e2Q.html How badly chipped are your skirting boards.

@@Inexteriors thank you for replying i have a 4 year old who like playing with his cars on the stairs🤣🤣 its not through to the bare wood but you can see the chips,I'm on my own so i don't get a lot time don't want to skin over it either as you know its down to the prep work to get a good finish x

Why not lift the radiator up and lay it on a box? We've got these hose pipes instead of copper pipes and all the rads lift off for easy decorating.

I would not want to risk agitating the pipes lol. Also i will look at that next time. Cheers.
