These are probably the best guides out there for painting a mini in general regardless of style. Showing the breakdowns of what and why you are doing them, The color mixing ratios, and diagrams are super helpful!

Damn it, now I have to try this on one of my Martyred Lady Palatines. The smaller scale and sharper armour should make it quite striking, and if I screw it up it's so small it'll be hard to notice :P

very great NMM tutorial, i have been trying nmm on aromur for many time which is not good enough. The analysis about 3 sets of reflection: primary, secondary and tertiary reflection really help!!!!

Your NMM tutorials are the most helpful I've ever seen on KZfaq. Have you considered showing NMM on non-Astartes? Eldar, Votann, Stormcast, Tau. So much armor to make shiny, so little time...

Hi and thanks for your comment ! Next will be white 😁. I show my simplifoed gold and silver recipe in all videos when i do the trims or aquila, but for a full space marine version, gold and silver will be covered in a future video series showong more advanced NMM effect, cheers !

Great NMM tutorial ;) would you consider making nmm tutorial to something mechanical? Maybe dreadnought furiosa? A lot of flat and round nmm, pipes and etc it would be great :)

Awesome video. I now am gonna try to tackle this on my autarch! My army is a traditional ulthwe scheme but I use more neutral Grey's ( citadel line) Any advice on the colors for the staircase gradation? My thoughts were black, 50/50 eshin/black, eshin, 50/50 dawnstone/eshin and dawnstone at the very top.

Hi ! Well I'm not so sure about that 😅 it is true that the blending process may be faster, but if you take into considération the drying time and the proper cleaning of the tools, for a single miniature it is not so straight forward, cheers !

It is more then that ,if you know how to do it, drying time should be no problem + even whole armys with nmm is at least always faster , if you know how to do it, Oil is King ;)@@merlinsmagicworkshop9192

It’s an amazing effect you achieved but as someone who’s trying to get to grips with NMM this isn’t simplified at all . I feel for beginners we need a way where we don’t have to mix so many colours and possibly less steps to achieve something similar

Hi and thanks for your comment! It's true that the black scheme is not the easiest in term of mixing, that's actually the main difficulty with black, because we need to deal with subtle grey tone variations. For beginners I would suggest to start with blue or green, to get used to the process

Wonderful tutorial. I prefer to keep 60% of the area in black and 40% for reflections. You went more 50/50 which is not really my cup of tea.
