Green bananas can be cooked with or without the skin. It can also be fried, baked , roasted and be used to make porridge.
- Bring to boil a medium pot of water , add salt to taste.
- Partially cut the ends
- Carefully add the peeled bananas to the pot, turn the heat medium, cover and let cook for about 20 minutes or until tender.
- It can be had with just about any meats, seafood or vegetables.
Tips.
1. I normally add a tsp of vegetable oil or squeeze 1/2 of a lime juice into the water so the bananas doesn't turn too dark.
2. Bananas carry a lot of stain, so if you're not using gloves, rub some cooking oil on your hands ,so the stains doesn't stick to your hands..
3.Make sure water is boiling before adding the bananas.
