Great video on polisher options. Still can't decide on whether to use a professional detail shop for the first paint correction and buy a "lesser" DA to maintain the finish or buy one of the more powerful DA's and do the paint correction myself. Two year old Mustang convertible that the previous owner used automatic car washes (yikes) to wash her car. Many swirls and brush marks. Subscribed.

@@TakeTheBluePill to be honest I still use it for finishing or applying waxes and sealants, but you're better off getting a long throw 15 or 21mm I got the maxshine (shine master) 15mm pro model for 199 and it's leaps and bounds better. Maxshine is the super OEM that makes many brands polishers so going straight to the source is a great idea to me. Wouldn't be surprised if they're the ones who make the torq for chem guys.

Because choose polisher also consider what kind defect you wanna repair. If you newbie and choose 8mm stroke dual action polisher, you will be dissapointed with the polisher n feel wanna change to 15 or 21 mm stroke dual action. Then if the defect cant gone you jump to rotary polisher. My advice see for 15 or 21 dual action altough i jump to rotary when beginner but play safe n never burning paint

Anas saleh that would leave you with basically only the Harbor Freight or some form of knock off/clone which can be too unreliable and inconsistent to recommend. But definitely don't be afraid of the HF DA for your first buy. With the correct pads, products and application it is perfectly capable of significant correction and a beautiful finish. You might even find you don't enjoy using machines at all.. or you will love it and immediately want to improve. That's when you have fun and invest in a high end machine and products. That allows you to have the HF as a backup and you can throw a 3" backplate on it and use it for small areas. A 3" is incredibly useful and I use one at some point on almost every car. =)
