In this vertical-short (read: highly edited down set of clips) excerpt from our Online Gardening School, you'll see Chloe talk about and demonstrate how she plants sugar snap peas, first soaking and sometimes innoculating them, using furrowed rows in a prepared garden bed where she will later add trellising to support the growing pea plants. Peas are the first vegetable we direct sow in the ground each spring-- typically in February here in the southern Appalachians of Western North Carolina, in Zone 7.

Both of these offerings are fantastically comprehensive and chock full of well organized video lessons and resources to build the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to plan and actualize your dreams.
Wild Abundance is also a home, a hub, and a dream of a more interconnected and sustainable world. That dream is constantly co-created by everyone who participates in it.
We see modern life pushing people further and further away from their connections to the natural world, from each other, and from the skills for engagement. The school is our act of hopeful resistance to this trend. It’s also our invitation to you to gain confidence and competence.
