How to Play Electric Guitar Properly (Beginner to Advance)
In this video, I’ll show you how to play the electric guitar properly. This Should Be Everyone’s First Guitar Lesson but it's not too late. This lesson video is Beginner Electric Lesson 1 or could be Your Very First Electric Guitar Lesson but at the same time even if you are an advanced guitar player you can learn the steps to fix your guitar technique and how to get better.
I'll show you how to hold pick, picking hand technique, fingering hand technique, and left and right-hand synchronization.

Ozgur, thank you for making this video. I've been playing guitar for 10 years. And evidently, I've been playing incorrectly for 10 years. My playing has improved dramatically the past few days following the instructions laid out in this video. I still have a lot of practice I need to put in but I finally feel like the practice is actually making a difference. My playing feels cleaner, more confident, and sounds so much better. Thank you!

Bro, this stuff is so fucking helpful, I'm even excited after I tried it out! I like playing difficult stuff but sometimes was kind of limited due to not using my wrist properly. Holy shit master thank you so much !

Good video, but you did not talk about the most important part of the fretting hand. The part that cause many issues for beginners and intermediate players. That is, to make sure the fingers are curled so that the distal joint strikes behind the fret and the notes being played. This makes a huge difference in the progress of Legato. Sure, you can do it without that form, but it will take longer as you'll need to develop a lot of strength to sound the notes. Legato should also be practiced with a CLEAN setting, if you can't hear that pinky finger note as loud as the index finger notes, you haven't gotten the technique down. Slow, in time and equal volume of notes is how it should be practiced. Im also a big proponent of slow practice. You can never practice slow enough. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Speed will come regardless of what the snake oil salesmen say on the internet.
