Just finished the series and WOW! Great series! Im new to the game and have been playing with the videos as reference next to me. Have you ever played mageknight or know of any videos setup like this series?

Wow! Thanks for the great comment! I LOVE Mage Knight. It was the first "epic" game I owned and it's still very high on my list of favorite games. A couple years ago I attempted to script a How to Play for Mage Knight but stalled out. Now that I've successfully scripted KDM I think I may give it another shot. When I was learning Mage Knight I wasn't really able to find any detailed how to play videos but there are a lot of great gameplays out there! @@BoredOnlineBoardOffline we decided against it, unfortunately. I was all for it, but seeing as some of us might not have the time to be there at all times, us being all unfamiliar with it and the added buffs for the monsters supposedly being a tad over the top, we are just taking turns when more than 4 are around. If we make it through once and everybody knows the ropes, I'll try convincing the group again. ;)

Has much changed in the 3 years since you've made this video? I just bought the core game and was wondering if I am still equipped to dive right in with just this video series' knowledge?

Very good question. This video series was based on the 1.5 ruleset. 1.6 just recently released but there are basically only tweaks to cards for balance rather than actual rule changes. Can you pls tell me if a Monster can Crit a survivor? if yes what dose that mean? and if a survivor rolls a 1 that is a miss but dose he take damage? Thenks

Monsters do not crit survivors. Of course you could look at it as ALL their attacks are crits since they so freaking damaging lol. If a survivor is rolling to hit or rolling to wound a 1 is always a miss and a 10 is always a success.
