This is a discussion about all 12 of the Kingdom Death Monster Expansions. Soon everyone will have the opportunity to pre-order the original expansions.

Let's just have some fun and express our opinions. These are just my opinions and could be wrong. I am trying to both have fun, joke around, and not be too serious. I understand this update is both good and bad for many in the KDM fan base.

Yes dude. Please do more videos on overall KDM buyers guides. There is a server lack of this content for newer players.

This covers most of the content released for the game. I have done white box videos as well. I will think about how to make another video about KDM purchases, but for the most part I stay away from all the "non-content" releases.

The white boxes are important. If you don’t have a pile of white boxes on top of a bookcase somewhere in your house how would anyone know you play kdm?

Available as of today on backerkit. At least for the first expansions and the gigalion. Grabbed the last 2 I hadn't gotten before (gigalion and sunstalker) you can also get all the expansions for a bulk price

Thanks for this video. I have all of wave 1 unopened and pristine...for a few years now. I made the mistake of hunting for everything when I absolutely didn't need it! Apologies if I have missed this in your expansion reviews (I dont watch any potential spoilers as I have yet to play them) but would be great to here how you fit the expansions in if different from suggested (such as Spidicules you mentioned) and what would be your advice on including the various expansions. I have articles online, how many to add which ones in each campaign etc. Just very interested on your views on this as I watch all of your KDM content. If you ever have the time that is. If not no problem I still enjoy all your videos so thank you.

Spooder I just do not replace the lope. I typically only include what I know I will use when I start a campaign. Normally I set out do something different, then I think what works well with that direction. I play very sandboxy, and when I decide to use something, I just use it, lol.

When I decided to pull the trigger on KDM I ordered 1.6 and then started hunting for the expansions. Did I pay more than their worth? Yes but it is what it is. I really would like them to open the backer kit so we can order the wave 4 expansions. I missed out on BF 21 and the price had a huge jump so a little anxious as to what they will charge this BF. As always great video!!

Hopefully there will be a chance to get both CoD and GCE when these pre-orders go live. I fully expect there to be another BF bundle this year. Hopefully the prices do not go up again on the Wave 4 stuff.

As a new KDM player (I just bought 1.5 core), I sorta want to get expansions while they’re available. what expansions would you recommend that could potentially be thrown in with the core game on a first play through?

At the end of video I give some minor suggestions. I have a Gorm video on my channel, that is the one I would recommend you toss in as a first play, if you really want to do that. I always suggest one vanilla first time game, but if forced to pick one, Gorm. I explain why in the Gorm review video.

By that, do you mean it might only be available for american, or is it the US Black Friday? If it's the latter, which date is your BF? It may be available for pre-order this Black Friday in the US. The ability to pre-order will be available to all. Black Friday is just the timing. I will make a post when/if it does happen.

Where can I buy gamblers chest? Is it available in the coming pre oder? And is it worth to buy the 1.6 card pack?

The best bet is that it will be available on Black Friday. If you own 1.5, the card pack is worth it. If you own 1.6 already, the card pack contains promo cards. I have a video on the 1.6 pack and use some of those promo cards in my season 2 campaign. Getting those promo cards via the card pack will be cheaper than hunting down the white boxes they come in.

Thanks a lot for your reply, and for the video. I am newer to kingdom death and first have to play the core game. Maybe I upgrade it to 1.6. How much spoiler contains your videos?

@@christianwalter3834 Upgrading to 1.6 is a really great move for gameplay. My gameplays are full playthroughs. They will spoil most of the surprises. I make sure to cover strategies for monsters and treat the videos like a guide for playing KDM.

@@BraMithra very cool, I got Kingdom Death in 2019 and didn’t play it until lantern year 8. Now I am very hot again to play KDM. I am actually in lantern year three. So the most surprises are covered for me. I look how far it goes with my settlement and after that I view your videos. By the way I am so happy that I buyed the dragon king on Black Friday in 2019 for 75$

as for holding value, I am not quite sure it's here...been in bad spots and offered my hauls of this game up for steals and no takers...glad I have what I have and getting ready for yet another playthrough... but its only value is to me apparently.

The best time to look for the chest is normally on Black Friday. However, there is a chance that it may actually release this year, so it may just be available from the main website. If it does release, I will for sure update everyone.

No word, soon? I assume they will put the order in when GCE foes into production. Get the most out of those containers.

I am so fucking upset that I somehow missed this entire thing. I first got KDM at the end of last year. I have occasionally checked in on expansions to see if I can get them or anything, and yet I somehow missed an entire freaking pre-order sale.

The only way to get the Gambler's Chest is to back it on Kickstarter, then wait through 7 years of "it's almost done", "Kingdom Death is a family", and "look, we added another penis".

Nice for me I had to cancel more order months ago, I had the core game, the gamblers chests etc... but I had to cancel as they tend snuck extra taxes to pay months after I ordered in order to cover their own problems that was it for me tbh, it was already months over due for the core game, hell I even have lots of the white and some brown boxes stuff because I like the models to paint and all. But Yeah I still check your stuff out because its GREAT!! :-)
