Are you mystified by Artichokes? This recipe will clarify how to Prepare Cook and Eat an Artichoke, which are both delicious and healthy!
Ingredients for Basic French Mayonnaise:
1 Egg Yolk
150ml (⅔ cup) Neutral Oil (Grape seed/Sunflower/Safflower/Avocado), NOT Olive Oil
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
2-3 drops White Wine Vinegar (or other acid, e.g. Lemon Juice)
Pinch of Fine Salt
Pepper to taste
Opt.: Add a tsp of Garlic Paste to make your own delicious Aioli!

About Chef Walter
With a strong background in the creative and visual arts, Chef Walter’s style can best be described as “gastronomic bistro”. Having completed a “Diplome de Cuisine” at the famed Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Paris, as well as the highly rated Walnut Grove Cookery School in France’s Loire Valley, Walter relies on his French training and techniques to assure top quality, but remembers his Texas roots and always cooks from the heart! During week-long Adventures, Walter always includes a mix of the Classics and Regional recipes, as well as a healthy dose of original recipes.

Hi Chef Walter I love artichokes so much I've only eaten them with butter 🧈 I'm a butter lover lol. I've never liked mayonnaise from childhood but your homemade recipes really make me want to taste it!
