Thanks for the video. Easy, simple. I just got the 2024 R-Line Premium and even though the setting is on to show user profiles, it’s nowhere to be found 😮 Any ideas on this? Or is it a wait for firmware release?

I have no ideas in the 2024s yet. I haven't gotten the chance to really play with one yet.

WOW... my husband is driving back with the new car and called to tell me that the garage did not tell him how to program the HomeLink for the garage door. he ''may'' be impressed with my instructions.. Thanks a lot.. great help.. you make it seem extremely easy.

This was very helpful! Picked up 2023 ID4 yesterday in Seattle. Not a thing in manual about Home Link programming. One note: car must be on for mirror light to show programming status. Loved your other recent video about black Pro S with Cosmic interior. Exact model I purchased.

Just got a 2023 Jetta SE. Not a thing in the manual about this mirror. I will try to do the programming of my door opener, but it is older so wondering if this will work. Also, what are the other buttons for? Is there a day/night switch? thank you!

There is NOT a day/night switch because the mirror is "Auto Dimming". The buttons on the bottom are for up the different garage door openers. There is a 3 button version and a 4 button version. If you have the 4 button version, you also have an included subscription to Homelink.

Weird. I did the exact steps. The lights flashed the exact same way as in the video. But the homelink still doesn't work to close the garage

It pairs to items in the house using the Homelink app. Check the Homelink website.

That is a bluetooth button that is used for pairing to your home automation items via the Homelink app.

Depends on which mirror you have. If you have 3 buttons on the bottom, there is NO Homelink subscription, but if you have 4 buttons on the bottom, there is an included 4 year subscription.

I am not sure but I think it can still be done. You will have to program it like the keypad outside your garage door. You will probably need a ladder too.

Did not work. I found a pamphlet in my car which took me to an app. The app took me to a step by step process to make sure it recognized the remote, receiver and mirror.

BTW, I founded! There’s an small hole near the Bluetooth button and we can setup the compass by a toothpick from there!

Are you referring to the digital compass on the mirror? If so, it should have been set with the PDI process. If it's not set, it shows a "C" on the mirror instead of the usual direction.
