What foods make you bloated? For me it's dairy, gluten, and added sugar! To debloat, I spend the next day drinking lots of water and filling up on lean protein, veggies, and fruits! Exercise helps too of course!

Your stomach is mostly empty when you wake up in the morning, so it’s at its flattest and will start to round depending on the food :)

@@infiresmannn6737 Step 1: buy mint tea bags. Step 2: pour boiling water on a tea bag (in a mug) and wait 5 minutes. Step 3: drink. You can also dry mint leaves and put them in a tea strainer and then add boiling water.

Absolutely adore how you take into account things like stress, hormones, and even personal goals. Not everyone wants to lose weight or get shredded, and many fitness channels take one or both as an assumption. You know your stuff, are frank with it and with reality that we all react differently to foods, and even the same food on different days. This video wasn't what I was looking for but it's such good quality it deserves a comment to bump it up in the algorithm. Good luck with this channel 👏👏

I'm pretty in shape, but it's losing that stubborn belly fat that is really difficult for me :(. Plus I bloat (even after like, a run) which confuses me at times

I heard belly fat can be the result of stress. Also: drink lots of water (especially when you're exercising), and figure out how that works out best for you. Some articles suggest you drink a few glasses at once, and others suggest you drink tiny sips at a time. And last but not least... Everyone has a spot on their body which loses weight last. For me, it's my arms... Only when I am really really losing weight, my arms finally get thinner. But you should ask yourself whether that is what you want. Belly fat is actually very normal for women. Lots of people find it beautiful and feminine :)

It's important to mention that laxative abuse may cause REALLY SEVERE bloating issues that don't stop at just gluten and veg and that stuff. Please please please don't shove the dulcolax down thinking that it will help! It won't in the long run.

I personally have never taken laxatives but my flatmate does to help her lose weight and she's ALWAYS on the toilet farting incessantly. I told her that it's not healthy but she won't listen.

Yes. I had severe IBS issues in my teens and had been prescribed laxatives and softeners and even though I used them like I was supposed to, it caused so much bloat afterwards. I now have IBD along with GERD but I only use laxatives and anti D meds (my body loves switching back and forth) if it is absolute last choice.

Thank you for reducing my anxiety! I have been waking up nausous almost every morning! Scared thinking I was pregnant even though my husband has had a vascetomy! I really appreciate that you said it's not just calories in/calories out. A lot of influencers, or girls on reddit will shame others for saying they can't lose the weight, but hormones, stress, sleep, birth control, and a bunch of other factors make it so that scale doesn't move. Really appreciate you being so kind and understanding about it and the energy towards nourishing your body and not hating yourself for the bad days.

Maybe you're eating something you're slightly allergic to or your body isn't taking well! I'd suggest writing down how you feel after you eat something to try to figure out what it is that is bothering you!

I've noticed since starting clean eating that gluten makes me so bloated and yucky feeling which sucks because my fave foods are pizza pasta and bread lol. But I'm getting used to the changes. The yucky feelings last like 3days and just aren't worth that moment of weakness for me. Have a brill day everyone

Cassey, thank you for always being there for us all. I have struggled mentally for a few months lately due to Covid. I had issues about my feelings toward my body and I just felt like I had to lose fat even though I am already slim enough. I tried to eat better and workout more but I realized that I no longer enjoyed working out the way I did before. It felt like a race, an obligation.. and frankly, I hated it. It brought me down so much and made my anxiety worse. However, with the support of my family and boyfriend, I have slowly gotten back to eating normally and just working out when I truly feel the desire too. Its a work in progress, but I'm slowly starting to come back to my normal regime and doing work outs that make me truly feel happy and not those that make me feel like I must lose fat.

I cannot tell you how much this video means to me, thank you so much. This video helped me a lot, I've followed you on other platforms before and was so surprised when I saw this video on yt. I've been struggling with bloating for my whole life but more recently have noticed it a lot more. I went to a gastroenterologist and got recommended a 'FODMAP' diet. So much of what you said tied into that and I can't wait to take some of your advice. I am so so so thankful I am for this video, I've never had it all laid out so simply before. This really felt empowering and lifted my spirits a lot, it's been very difficult and at times emotionally draining and overwhelming.

I love that finally somebody speaks so clearly about weight loss, i eat super healthy BUT i´m super stressed out and i don´t get enough sleep, so for me this is a big issue and i have o change it in order to feel really good about my body beyond losing weight. It is just like you said "food should make you feel joy and good about yourself"

This was the best nutritional and effective realistic advice that many girls need to hear,I’ve been bloated for a while now and I know it’s my diet and lifestyle,going to start waking up early go for morning walks do a daily step of 10,000 a day eat healthier until I’m out of lockdown and can go back to the gym and get back to my routine again!💪🏼

I’ve been through the mistake of thinking I could eat as much food as I want as long as it was healthy. I was working out regularly but I was still not shedding off the weight. After much research through the years and with learning from my fitness peers, I learned that even though I ate healthy foods, excessive calories/ being on a caloric surplus is what leads to weight gain. To lose weight, one must be in a caloric deficit. Muscle gain is a different topic and that dives into macros and such. But YEAH. I’m so glad you said that “excessive calories + time = body fat”! 👍🏽❤️

That helped me a lot, thank you so much! Over the past year or so I really got to know my body better and what it needs and what it doesn’t like. I went from really hating my body structure and on really bad days restricting it the food it deserved to loving and embracing every inch of it and eating healthy and delicious food (and I loooove potatoes in every form). I’m lactose intolerant and my body really doesn’t like industrial sugar and grease, but I try to make conscious decisions and when I want to eat that pizza tonight, just drink more water and eat a little more mindful the next day. Thank you so much for your informative videos Cassie, you helped me a lot 💜

People asked me why I eat so slow, and I can show them this video. Also drinking tea like cinnamon, peppermint, dandelion root, dandelion chai, or a blend of rose, lavender, and chamomile. Stretches helps at times as well.

I can eat something in 2 hours. It can even be a little kraft Mac n cheese cup that takes my hours. I can get full eating half of a cup of food. I still tend to be overweight tho :(
