I have been Soda Doping for this reason. I had read articles that touched the removal of lactic acid. You explained it very well and thank you for the great information.

Yuri Elkaim - Please read Neilsen et al. (2001) and re educate yourself on your understanding of what lactic acid is and its role. It is not a waste product but actually a metabolic fuel placed into oxidative pathways and resynthesised into Pyruvate; used during the TCA cycle.

Lance has actually said he believed that training above his lactic acid threshold was not productive and that he believed in being right at it or just below that threshold which would then raise the ceiling of his threshold.
