Perfect video, helped to fix all issues i have with my 1.9 zafira b. I have changed the throttle as i oil inside the electrical part, engine light disappeared and the car regained full power. Also changed the faulty map sensor as the rpm max at 30 with no power and engine light is on, all ok sfter charging map sensor, i changed the air filter and cleaned the egr and maf same time with the map sensor change and the car is performance is very good. Honesly this video helped me more thsn the workshop as they couldn't figure out the problem and they suspected bad turbo which is not correct. Hopefully my comments are helping others facing same issue.

many thanks ! for the tips. i was having problems on low speeds 60kmh when gently accelerate car was struggling cutting out. no problem on the shut down . found loot of oil in the connection and inside the body. after cleaning works well , no more problem. vectra C 1.9 dt 88kw. thank you !!!!!

Great video thank you :) Edit : today i got power loss on my alfa 159jtdm can't go up from 20km/h and 2000rpm i stopped turned the engine off and started again no problem - map maf dpf egr are ok i had a throttle body error on diagnostic so this video is uber useful for cleaning everything :)

Perfect video to see how it is done, even this EGR was not so bad, and if there was problem it was in MAF and would be great if solenoid was disassembled also, but also was OK, so lucky for him not much hard work :). But really great video for anyone to manage to get it done. Even all other things on this car and motor (i have Zafira) are complicated and lot of effort, this tutorial and every tip is perfectly shaped and so well incorporated, so this job is really easy if you have right tools. WELL DONE !!!!!!

Can it be a problem with dirty throttle body when pressing the gas gently and car struggling? Looks like turbo cutting off or something like that. There is some oil around throttle body

Is this more or less the same on the Astra H/Mk5 1.6?

These Z19DT 120 for me have been nothing but problems and not the easiest designs when trying to repair hate the damn cars much prefer the VW 1.9

i did this on my vectra 1.9cdti and reset the eml 3 weeks later plug in my diagnostic tool its throwing up egr fault again :o(

Is throttle bodi Electric became damaged ?or only we kan cleaning?

Iv recently done all this, then engine management light came on with code p1125 any ideas what it could be?

Never thought of disconnecting the cooler pipe, looks easier than my method but everything else i do! And the anti shudder valve or throttle body collects a crazy amount of oil in its base

What does it mean if the throttle body electronic part is full of oil? Means turbo is leaking oil ?

That throttle body is such an abomination... Having the electronics directly under the drive mechanism inevitably floods it with a mixture of oil, soot and condensate. Cleaning it out helps when the ECU starts throwing random errors but the problem will return, as the leaky lower seal of the throttle itself is almost impossible to fix. Why didn't they simply turn the whole unit 90 degrees, putting the electronics box on the side? The space is there.

Czy klapa przepustnicy nie powinna być zamknięta? Czy jesli jest otwarta to sie sama zamknie następnym razem? Shouldn't the throttle flap be closed? Or will close itself after the assembly?

I have a problem with my automatic zafira 1.9 cdti, after 40 minutes on the road or in the city, when changing gears the revolutions go up and hit the third gear, will it be the problem of the electronics of the throttle body?

What causes the oil to leak into the circuit board box as just cleaned mine and was full to brim of oil thankfully all cleaned and working properly again

why is there oil in the electronic side of the throttle body? some people are saying it's because of the turbo but this is happening for almost 3 years, and turbo is still kicking....so it must be something else.

My Zafira B has started making a whistling noise when I take my foot of the accelerator. Could doing this get rid of it?

I had oil in the throttle body PCB electrics, how does it get in there?

I changed the egr valve and still got and error code for throttle body. Can that be the problem?

It's not nessesery to unmount and clean all intake minifold?
