Would this be the same for a 2005 Scenic, 1.5 Diesel? I have an issue where the parking brake went into error mode, then had starting issues, with the vehicle completely dying! No electrics, battery not holding charge and cannot be jump started? I was going to change the battery as break down recovery said it appeared to be on its way out. Not sure what issue is but this procedure seems the first to check? Found the internal fuse board in the glove box. Cheers. MM

Good video - shame you didn't show underneath the circuit boad - apparently the headlight relays are unerneath. Anyway at least I will know how to remove the fusebox.

Do you know if spraying contacts with contact spray will help? Car is working, but check engine light got turned on among other things (trunk door doesnt open, back wiper doesnt work, temperature gauge doesnt work always). Thanks in advance for the response. :D

+tecco59 Thanks so much your video ,was very helpful ! Mine is Renault clio 2004 1.4 16 v but the fuse box looks the same as yours ,saw some you tubers changing a chip so i thought i need reprogram it when change with another fuse box?But thanks im looking at some scrap yards for a replacement .

Is there a proper way to disconnect the wire block connectors from the fusebox? I cannot extract the smaller ones in the middle so I can't get the fuse box free from some of the wire looms. I've tried using pliers and a molegrip but they won't shift and I've cracked one on the outside so I'm hesitant to do more damage. Any advice?

try looking inside the car for a removable panel usually under by the steering wheel or underneath the glove box

Janine Plimbley. Yes apparently rain tends to get in and it was cutting out

Mine has shown up on diagnostics it is the immobiliser. So, my mechanic has fitted a starter button. Stupid blood French rubbish. Would never of bought it had I known I was in for this. Horn isnt working so that is the next investigation.

Hi not really there is usually a fuse box inside the vehicle under the dashboard some where sometimes if you ask for location in Google you get a diagram saying which relay is which sorry I can't help anymore

But how did you figure out that you need to change the actual fuse box on first place? How did you new for sure that this was what was causing you troubles?

Did not know for sure but checked everything else and spoke to an auto electrician and he said try changing fusebox..was having electrical problems with engine ,example engine randomly cutting out and not starting again for a while. the fuseboxes on these megane`s are known for getting wet in bad weather because of where they are situated the water runs into it and damages the circuit board. so after trying everything else changed the fusebox and everything was fine again.

Thank you for you responce. I AM JUST GOING TO CHECK THAT..as all the lights on the board are on and the wipers are going and a clicking sound ...and until i disconnect the battery it will keep the light and sound show on....the only thing that it doesn' t do is start.

the thing is there are a lot of relays in the fusebox so I found it easier to just replace the fusebox rather than try to figure out which relay was which . best of luck hope you solve your problem

It worked. But any way I also needed a new battery. So all is fine ater the restart and the battery
