Worked great! Just replaced my actuator by following this video!!!!! Thanks!!!! Couple of notes. 1 might be easier to remove screws around speaker to get the door panel off 2 you will have an extra wiring harness if you have seat heaters

great video...thanks for posting it... helped me out a lot to remove the power door lock actuator I did not replace mine...i just removed it ... ill lock and unlock the car manually.... I didn't have to remove the outer door handle....i was able to slip the unit out... thanks for a good video

Thank you very much on how to remove the front actuators. Saved me a day at the shop and several hundred dollars of labor for parts that actually didn't need replacing. My 3rd gen Ody's (05-10) EX-L has 3 screws that hold the door. After you pop the front post panel out, remove 2 screws under the hidden door latch panel, one screw under the armrest inside the top well, then pop the entire door panel out. Don't pull too far because you will need to unhook the latch cable and a couple of connectors. Removing the actuator housing the the same as in this video, you don't need to remove the outer door latch, just unhook the plastic rod holder, rotate it out of the way and pull the rod out. Once I did this, I could repeat the entire actuator removal it in about 15 minutes.

My front driver's side door lock is jammed up from debris. I can't even insert the key into the lock. I'm using your video here to remove the door lock so that can take it apart and lube and re-key the lock. I don't have to remove the actuator or door window runner for this job but, your video is the closest thing I can find for the instructions that I need.

Are these the same for the sliding doors? My driving side sliding door does not automatically lock/unlock, have to do it manually. I imagine it's the actuator.

Hello! I have a 03 Honda Pilot and I have a problem with the driver’s side door lock, it doesn’t work with the remote control when I try to lock or unlock while the others locks work. When I lock it manually it works with the remote. Do you think the actuator could be the problem? Thanks for your help.

If you follow the rod inside the door, you should be able to see which one connects to the door latch. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 866-403-3393

mines is 03 and it doesn't lock with the switch or remote nether manually, I tried to push down the locking pin but it does not stay down, can you please tell me if this is can be fix with a new actuator? Thank you!

I did replace the front driver door actuater got it from 1A Auto parts replace old one but still not working. Any more advise?

+Emad Azer You may want to test the power going to it with a test light to see if there is power going to it. If there is not power going to the actuator you may also want to test the power going to the switch and the fuse. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
