Great video, but if you don't have that lock ring tool, put the hammer & chisel down. Go get the right tool before you start. It's cheap and readily available and will save you huge amounts of time & frustration, especially on reinstallation. I learned this the hard way. The same lock ring tool works on a lot of older Daimler/Chrysler/Jeep stuff, btw.

I got to the plastic ring and could NOT get it to loosen with hammers and screwdrivers. Arrow pointed to 'max'. Brought out the compressor and the air chisel. Worked up by 10 psi increments until 70 psi finally broke it loose. Your video and TRQ fuel pump got me on the road again. THANKS!

Great. Thank you! If you want to disable the fuel pump temporarily to hook up a pressurized fuel injector cleaning apparatus at the fuel rail, can you just pull out the EFI relay from under the hood or do you have to pull the connector by the pump by the tank?

Does this still apply to Highlander Hybrids of the same vintage? Just saw a video stating removing the seat did not allow access and that the fuel tank had to be dropped.
