This is my first video to my Chanel quick tutorial how to remove and refit water cooled EGR valve on a Ford transit 2.2.
This video will show what to remove, what size bolts and how to re fit the new egr valve
I will have more videos to follow including salvage cars cat n&s

Could you have clamped the hoses, so only losing a bit of coolant? Or is the space too tight to have the clamps in the way? Have to do mine & it looks a squeeze in there.

Hello! hope you see this comment, I recently bought an Mk7 transit year 2008 with 2.2tdci but the coolant pipe is missing where does it go? I also have the p1409 code candy can't seem to figure it out.. Thank you

Hi. I've got a machanic changing the EGR valve. For some reason while doing this he has soaked the whole engine with engine oil. Not sure if he knows what he is doing. Is this a normal thing that happens when changing or is he messing up my van? Thanks.

Hi, how much coolant leaks out when you remove the two water pipes from EGR? Would I just need to top it up.. Thank you

Hi you lose most from the engine and the heater matrix and header tank all you need to do is top back you leave running with the cap off and top up as necessary takes about 10 minutes at the most to get it circulating and rid of any air locks and heat to come through the vents hope this help 👍🏻👍🏻

@@abautossalvagerebuilds2109 ah ok thanks for that. Just had a look at mine before I bought the EGR, seems like the two 10mm bolts one is completely rusted.. so think that will cause me most problems when I come to change it!

@@DavidHilton1991 the 10ml’s threads into the egr Would suggest soaking them with wd40 or similar and work them in and out as they do snap but is not a massive issue as you can just put new ones into the new egr 👍🏻

@@abautossalvagerebuilds2109 oh yeah of course I didn't actually think of that, if it snaps the snapped part of thread will be in the old EGR which will be coming off anyway. Nice once, thanks again
