This video shows you how to install parking brake shoes on your 2002-2005 Ford Explorer. For drum brakes and parking brakes, shoes will eventually need to be replaced. Good Job.....But the slack adjuster was put in back to front as the adjustment hole in the backing plate did not line up with the slack adjuster......

Is there any adjustment to be done to the adjuster for the brake shoes?

Definitely buy new hardware i had to use the old hardware because the store was out of stock

Do u have to buy special brake pads to use with slotted and drilled rotors? Or do u use the same type?

Hello, a query, at min 7:55 a rubber is lubricated, what is the name of this rubber or part? I have the problem that the parking brake is released and I don't have this rubber, it seems to me that it is like a support that prevents those plates from coming off. I need to find this piece but I don't know the name. Thank you
