All I can say is wow! This product is amazing, did you notice I was able to just coat right over bare wood? They call that a hybrid solution, when its all done, you cannot tell the difference between the varies materials. The main goal here is to make sure you have a solid clean surface to roll this solution onto. After that, you pretty much can't mess it up :D

At 1:04 youre cleaning a patched section of the roof. Do you have a video showing how you made that repair?

@@SouthernGinger I did, saw a lot of resealing of the vents. I must've missed where you did the patch! I have a 97 bounder, and want to patch over the rear fans completely.

Great video. Our shop has tried it a few year but just too cost prohibitive (need double application for any good mil rate) also had a couple customers come back to us with issues. Now we use a solvent based coating rv roof magic and and dicor for all our caulk. So far about 35 units and no call back issues i think we are good. Always do semi annual inspections on your roof it will save you thousands down the road !!

Awesome! It's really good stuff and I love how the kit has everything you need except brushes and such. Mine was around $1500 for my roof, which is much less than the $4500 I was quoted lol

Did you remove the sealant that was on the roof where it connects to the front cap before doing the outline with the mastic?

Is that stuff thick enough that I can paint over top of some existing eternabond tape that I have on my roof, and it blend in without seeing the seem of the tape?

Yeah you can thicken up those areas, I put on 2 coats and you can still see the seam but it blends in well.

I cut in the best I could, it would have been even better to take the covers off completely but what I did works well enough and never had any issues this far

Hi there! Thanks for a great video! Gave me a lot more confidence. I'm seeking some advice from you or anyone else here who is willing to help. I bought a 2015 fleetwood new. Her roof is leaking along some seam in at least a couple places already cuz I'm getting some water damage down 2 walls. Is this system overkill for an rv only 6 years old? Should I spot fix it for now, maybe caulk it up in places that seem weak, or go for the whole crazy seal system now? Any advice/words of wisdom are very much appreciated!!

That's really up to you, you can use crazy seal on just about any condition roof. If it's small then you could use a dicor sealant or something like. But if you feel like you're chasing it, if look at crazy seal.

Still holding strong in 2022? I wanted to also add that I too used the screws with neoprene washers on my roof replacement a few months back. Just seems like it made so much sense, glad to see someone else do it.

Zach, I'm getting ready to prep the roof for sealing. I just ordered the plastic caps for the inside that you make (that's awesome BTW). Will the caps you make work for the top on the roof as well? I'm thinking about keeping the dish side for now, and just eliminating the old antenna side. Curious of your thoughts, I know both of your dish/antennas had already been removed. Thank you in advance for any insight!

I would not use them for the top, but if you had to I would cover it with dicor tape or soemthing. The material used for the caps is not meant for heat or uv rays

Curious, is the Crazy Seal designed or rated to go directly over plywood? It's a coating meant to be applied to an existing rubber or rubber-like roof, but over plywood? Is it sufficient protection for plywood?

Yup it can go right over plywood too
