How to Replace Temperature Probe Sensor PitBoss Pellet Smoker PB-39P350 ERL Code Fix

When pit-boss sends a probe or any other replacement part. They do not come with instructions. That is why I made this video. I know it will help someone replace the thermocouple or known as temperature probe sensor on their pit-boss pellet smoker. This is a PitBoss series 7 pellet smoker.

Thanks for posting this video. Had the same problem anytime I turned mine to 300 degrees or higher. Just waiting for my replacement parts.

Was you getting a wrong temperature reading? Is that why you had to change this? I have one of these coming from Dansons tomorrow. My temperature reading is about 268 when it’s actually just 217 degrees in the smoker. I have a Pit Boss Pro Series 1150. Great customer service at Dansons.

I just tried to set mine to 300 and it jumped to about 370 then set a ERL code.

You will want to call Danson. There should be a phone number in the owners manual. Or you can google Danson customer service phone number

I’m just glad it has a no questions asked parts replacement for 5 years. Lol. It was expensive but not as much as some of the other name brands. 👍😁 I believe it’s all 100% USA made

It is. But the great thing is the no questions asked parts replacement 5 year warranty. I made this video 2 weeks ago. And I’ve used it a lot since. It’s been doing great! I’m lovin it
