I always found turning the radio up helped in drowning out the whining noise coming from my ex wife. It's not always a bad thing.

I used my ears the other day and heard a noise that made me stop the car asap- my rear passenger wheel was about to fall off with about two threads holding it on… Toyota service screw up- the alloy rim was stuffed and I had to get a new one -always good to listen, even better to get a friend to help

Great video as usual Terry and another item now that I believe would be doable by myself if necessary. Just a comment on grease that I noted from a guy on the 200 Series Australia facebook post by the name of Tom Quok. He is very knowledgeable experienced with the 200 and recommended that the Uni joints be greased with lithium grease such as Castrol Premium HD and the Prop shaft with molygrease such as Castrol Spheerol LMM. He recommended not using the molygrease on the Uni joints as its not designed for needle bearings. Not sure if this may have contributed to your uni joint failure but worth noting going forward. Keep up the great work and videos.

G’day Terry, I replaced the pin on an Alko stabiliser leg on my caravan today and I was proud of myself. I will never attain the level of mechanical genius you obviously have but it was awesome to watch you do the job and you’ve inspired me.

Lovely Ep Terry and good explaining, But I must say they got to be the driest looking drive shafts I ve seen, were they ever greased much.

Great video. Looks like Toyota put thread locker on the threads of the bolts. Perhaps put some Loctite or similar when reinstalling?

Every car and 4x4 I've owned , every time I've had a uni strat to go bad I see double in the rear view mirror's from the tale shaft being unbalance before I hear any noises from the uni's

Hi Terry, great video. Did you pre-grease the spider T's before installing them? If not, you have could pushed all the grease out of the dust caps with air. I would've pre-grease them so there's grease all the way up to the cross sections so when you pump the grease after their installed the air doesn't force the grease out of the caps.

Hey terry. Once again a lot of useful info however my 200 series is a 2015 and the aftermarket uni joints are different part number front and rear shaft. What year model is yours

I change my care land cruiser univerersal joint 76L 2012 modale the only rear universal joint I heerd a voice still and I conviuse the sound is vary close to the transever geer how can I manage
