These instructions worked well for my 2011 Sienna. One difference: I don't think the little metal clip is provided any more or needed. Advice to myself when doing this job: Take a careful look at the subtleties of how things fit together while you're taking the old one apart. If it's hard to do, I'm doing it wrong.

Thank you. All the other instructional videos had me installing the metal inserts with notches facing out. I struggled replacing them then they started sliding out when used. When you said make sure the notches face each other I reinstalled them in a simple minute. 2002 Tacoma same process. 👍

Best video I've so far on how to install refills. One point wasn't clear: one end of the refill is closed (where the notches in the rails fit into the rubber) and the other end is open. Which end should be on the outside (farthest from center of wiper blade motion)?

Never leave the metal blade arms up while working. They will come crashing down and crack the windshield.

Sounds really easy, thanks. Wonder if inserts can be installed on 2012 Camry's. One important suggestion, gently put the wiper arm down on the glass while working on inserting the new inserts to prevent cracking the windshield.

Thanks for the video. Do you know if those metal strips apply to a 2011 Camry? I don't remember them being part of the old inserts and My new inserts didn't come with them. But I can't get my inserts to wipe smoothly. There's always little gaps in the wipe.

I just did my front wiper inserts, but how do you change the wiper insert for the rear wiper blade on a 5th Gen RAV4? The blade is blocked off on both ends so it appears you can't just slide out the old insert. Thanks!

On my wiper blade frame you have to thread the rubber blades in first, then slide in the metal strips afterwards; otherwise the metal strips will just slide out of the sides.

Thought the notches in the rails should face outwards to catch the last hook? He said inwards.

In June of 2018, I had the inserts installed at the Toyota dealer during a routine free oil change. The cost of the inserts were $13.31 each. At that price, I could have gotten complete arms at most auto stores. There was no additional cost for labor. Or was that included in the cost of the inserts? I did not ask. And thank you for the video.

To bad when i went to the toyota dealership they sold me the whole wiper blade with the metal frame like you buy at the auto parts, instead of the refill for the low drag wiper blade.

This video is fake because the metal things in real life are bent into a pronounced arch not straight like the ones in the video. The real ones are extremely hard to handle and nobody at the Toyota dealership had the patience or the know how to put the real metal things in. I eventually did it myself but it was a huge pain in the butt. I hate when they make videos using prop parts that are not like the real ones and give the viewer a false depiction like in this video.
