He isn't having as good of a season this year but he has been injured and the Warriors are healthier this year than last. Klay didn't play most of last season so Wiggins was asked to be the #2 option and I feel he excelled in that role. With Klay back and Poole rising, he isn't asked to do as much offensively so I think thats more to do with his drop of production this year. I still believe he's the Warriors 2nd best all around player.

There's something important to be learned here. Leadership isn't always about yelling at your teammates and calling them weak or lazy when they don't work as hard as you want them to. Not everyone is a Kobe/Jordan type who thrives on pure conflict. You MAYBE do that once a lot of trust has been established both ways and you know your teammates inside and out. Instead, leadership is about giving the tools to help someone succeed. Sometimes it means taking a step back and letting them breathe. It means encouraging them at the right moments for doing the right things. It means making sure that they are okay mentally and physically. The fact that Wiggins has grown so much at Golden State is proof that he was always talented. Leadership failed him in Minnesota.

The SACRIFICE that brought us one of the greatest NBA Finals back and forths ever. That makes me think, what would've happened if Andrew Wiggens didn't get traded from Cleveland and played with Lebron early on his career? Maybe he would've had this same mentality early on and maybe would've blossomed into the star we knew he could be. I feel like having him as a number 1 option hindered his learning abilities due to him getting away with bad habits like lacking on defense and bad shot selection but if he suffered those playoff woes early in his career (i.e Kobe) he could've learned and pushed himself even harder to become better so they could win a ring. Shoutout to you Dylan, you're one of my favorite basketball YTs on the platform. I wish you nothing but blessings 🙌🏾

He woulda been stuck on defensive duty and shitty catch n shoot situations under LeBron and likely turned out worse with a bad narrative to his name.I do agree he never was a #1 guy ppl just assumed his physical gifts warranted him that spot but skillwise n mentally he's not that at all.He did show himself to be a great 3rd/4th option with golden state with less pressure and more advantages to his established abilities

@@mxhughes I feel like skillwise the sky was the limit for him. I'm just thinking about him starting off as a role player with vets around him who could hold him accountable when he took stupid shots then once LeBron left he would've had the keys to the team with a championship mindset. I think part of the reason he didn't live up to the hype was because of him thinking he could get away with so many bad basketball habits that when Minnesota got a star vet, it was hard for him to change those habits.

There's nothing better than people working hard and finally getting their big break. Wiggins was always a solid player but needed to play for a system that complimented his strengths (Minnesota didn't have the winning formula - and he held the ball WAY too long in their offense which isn't a strength of his since he isn't the best iso player). He also stepped up big time defensively and finally had that fire in his eyes that we all wanted him to have. I was rooting for the Celtics to win but Wiggins' entire run with GS was nothing short of poetic how he silenced all of his haters!

Basically if you’re a #1 pick and have anything short of a generational career, the bologna sandwich eating talent assessors will label you a bust. Wiggins was never bad, even at his worst. He just needed to learn how to play without the ball in his hands. People wouldn’t even give him any benefit of the doubt when he was struggling on a franchise known as the Minnesota Timberwolves - AKA, possibly one of the worst franchises in the history of sports. If he averages 18-20 for the rest of his career, he’ll never escape the “hype.” But he’ll forever go down as a champion so he truly doesn’t need anyones approval now and he’s got half his career ahead of him still.

Wish Jabari Parker had a redemption arc. Randle, Gordon, Wiggins, and him was one of the best hs classes to watch unfold

I've came to watch NBA games and clips only in this year. So in the playoffs, seeing Wiggins on the Warriors team felt, to me, like a steal from them. Seeing him Dunk on AD, being good defender and having that wingspan on 6'7. It all felt unfair on that warriors team. Andrew is actually really good player to me so I was curious why did he need to save his career. And that's crazy how gifted players may don't use their advantage. Thanks for a video, i actually liked it

Two-way has another 8+ good years left. That monster dunk on Luca with that angry/killer stare down... man, that's scary... he's a perfect fit with golden state.
