To anyone who can remove the drive ring with your bare hands on a wheel that has been ridden even once, you might be a Greek God. I thought I was going to break all of the spokes out of my XCM 1500 grabbing the tire and rotating the whole wheel. Then it finally broke free before I reversed the rotation of the earth.

but because it does not show the extractor. with the q loosens. the ring more. closely. They have to improve the approach to disarming. and show more. about the tools to use

Hi. When retiring the hub seal, using a screwdriver, do I need a new one, or is the old one okay? Are bearings needed to replace? When you disassemble the bearings, do you damage them? thanks in advance

Hi Joao and thank you for your message. Yes, the hubseal and the bearings need to be replaced, which is usually the only reason for a complete rebuild of y hub. This video should be just a template to show how and that it is possible to replace any part on a DT Swiss hub. Enjoy riding the trails, Friso "DT Swiss".
